Nomadic Perceptions

Capturing
authentic Asia

Based in Asia since 2010

Nomadic Perceptions helps Asia-focused brands, editors, tour operators, and creators shape stronger stories, itineraries, and content ideas through field-based photography, writing, research, and consulting.

At the heart of this work is something I call journey narrative design: the emotional pacing, atmosphere, and story logic that turns a well-planned trip into an experience people remember.

What I Do

Three ways to bring more depth to your Asia projects.

01 · Visual Storytelling

Visual and Narrative Storytelling

Photography, writing, archive licensing, editorial stories, photo essays, and content partnerships for travel brands, publications, agencies, and tourism companies working with Asia.
02 · Itineraries

Travel Itinerary
Consulting

Route feedback, itinerary development, destination research, cultural context, experience ideas, and travel product improvement for Asia-focused trips and tours.
03 · Creators

Creator Production Consulting

Story angles, content ideas, visual direction, route planning, destination research, cultural context, and pre-production support for Asia-focused creator projects.
Behind the work

Photography, writing, and consulting shaped by lived observation.

I’m Luca, an Italian photographer, narrative writer, and travel consultant.

Since 2010, I have moved through Asia with a camera, a notebook, and a long attention to place.

My work is shaped by streets, temples, markets, train stations, old roads, food stalls, rituals, landscapes, and everyday moments.

For brands, editors, tour operators, and creators, that means content and consulting with a stronger sense of place:
more atmosphere, more context, and less generic travel language.

Exploring Asia since 2010

Long-term field experience across Asia.

Photo + Text

One visual and narrative voice.

Stories + Routes

Content, context, and journey logic together.
FIELD MAP

Asia, seen through years of movement.

Use this as a simple destination index.
Not a tourist checklist, but a map of places, stories, routes, food, people and atmosphere.

My book is out!

I traded the repetition of a routine life for the unpredictable rhythm of the Asian roads.

Since 2010, I’ve been documenting the contrasts between ancient silence and urban chaos. My book, Nomadic Perceptions, is the result of fifteen years spent meeting people and observing territories without pretending life is always neat.

It’s a 100-photo and text journey into the cultural and emotional depth of the nomadic experience. If you are looking for a different perspective on how we inhabit this world, this book was made for you.

Let’s shape something deeper.
